WiDS Datathon Prep Jupyter and Collab

  • Google Seattle - South Lake Union 1021 Valley Street Seattle, WA, 98109 United States (map)

In preparation for the WiDS Datathon (https://www.widsconference.org/datathon.html) our group will be offering a mini workshop and sessions to host teams to provide a space to work, collaborate and get some help from different mentors to successfully cross the finish line! Please register for the competition from the WiDS website (https://airtable.com/shrOhHp8VKWkn9f9J).

In this first session we will be introducing all the notebook technologies available for Data Science. We'll explain how jupyter and collab notebooks work as well as giving some useful tips and tricks for using these tools. You can ask all yours questions for the use of these technologies and be prepared to start the kaggle competition.

This mini workshop aims to bring less experienced data scientist up to speed with the technologies they will likely use for the Datathon.

Snacks will be provided!
